Dusshera is an important festival of Hindus which is celebrated with delight in all over India. It is organised on the Dasami date of the Shukla Paksha of Ashwin Mas .Lord Rama had killed Ravana on this day and Goddess Durga had conquered Mahishasur after the war of nine nights and 10 days . Dusshera is celebrated as the victory of the truth on the unreal. Hence it is also known as Vijaya Dashmi. Dusshera is considered to be one of the three very auspicious months of the year. On this day people worship arms, vehicles and books. It is believed that there is success in the work initaled on the day of Dusshera . Therefore , to start any new work , it is started on this day . In ancient times, the king used to pray for victory on this day and came out of war. Maratha Ratna Shivaji also went out against Aurangzeb on this day and protected Hindus religion.
I think this is helpful to you.
And Happy Dusshera
Good morning to all of you. This is Shreya of class 10 and I want to tell about something on dussehra.
Dusshera is the festival of Hindu religious. It is the popular festival of Hindu religious. When Hindu ladies and girls play dandiya and sing a song related to Goddess Durga. It is the festival of ten days. On tenth day, dussehra is at the last moment. So people make dussehra with full of enjoyment.
Now-a-days, on dussehra, in many places people burn the statue of rawan( the king of Lanka). The rawan is also known as the Lankesh. According to the my thinking, we should strike to destroy the evils in this moment when the status of rawan begin to burn. We should destroy the other bad things from our mind. It is a time for celebrating Durga puja. So, we should get victory of good over bad people. It is a time when world see the example of good. Then people know that good people wins and bad people fail in his works. Then people understand or learn we should do hard work and good work.

answer: Good morning to my respective teachers. Today I (your Name),
a student of Class (your class) is going to give a speech on Dussehra.
Dussehra is a popular Hindu festival that is also known as Vijayadashami that celebrates the victory of good over evil. Dussehra is one of the longest festivals in the Hindu traditions which is celebrated for 10 days, starting with 9 Nights which is known as Navratri and the last day is called as Vijayadashami, which has a lot of significance in the Indian traditions.
Dussehra is the day when the Chamundeshwari Durga, an Indian goddess, kills the Asura demon, Mahishasura. This festival also marks the victory of Ram, one of the Avatar of Vishnu, over the Killing of the 10 headed Ravana, in the great Indian epic of Ramayana.

Dussehra is a famous festival celebrated in our country India. It marks the day on which Lord Rama defeated the demon king Ravan. The celebration is to remember that the good and holy always wins over evil. The members of the families dress up and come together to spend time with each other on Dussehra by eating good food and watching fireworks. Many people go out and spend time at the prominent fairs of Dussehra. In these fairs, some local theatre groups stage the play of Ramleela, which is based on Ramayana’s famous Hindu mythological legend. The burning of the big figures representing Ravan, Meghnad, and Kumbhkaran marks the end of this celebration.

Dussehra is a festival celebrated in the Hindu religion. It is one of the most important festivals in India. In addition, it is also one of the longest ones. People celebrated Dussehra with great enthusiasm and love, throughout the country. It is time for rejoicing for everyone. The students get ten-day-long holidays from their schools and colleges to thoroughly enjoy this festival. In this Dussehra Essay, we will see how and why people celebrate Dussehra. Dussehra falls two or three weeks prior to Diwali. Thus, it falls usually around September to October. Everyone waits for this festival eagerly. It brings great reasons to rejoice by all. The ladies prep for their pujas while the men buy crackers and more to celebrate it heartily.Dussehra is also known as Vijayadashami in some regions of India. If we set aside the regional differences, the main events of this festival have one motto i.e. the victory of good over evil. In other words, this festival signifies the victory of the power of good over that of the power of evil. If we look at the Hindu mythology, it says that on this day Goddess Durga removed the demon called Mahishasura from the earth. Similarly, other traditions believe that Lord Rama fought and eliminated the Demon King Ravana on this very day. Thus, we see how both events have the same outcome. The outcome that is of light over dark, truth over lies and good over evil. Therefore, we see that while people’s belief may differ, they celebrate the very same essence throughout the country.
Dussehra is like a grand finale to the ten days long celebration of Navaratri. People on this day reenact the play of Ramayana, and the drama ends with the person who is playing the role of Lord Rama, burning the massive effigy of Ravana. Children, along with adults, visit 'Melas,' which is the Hindi for fairs.
