Given P = 110 W and V = 220 V
∴ Current in the circuit I = P/V = 110 W/220V = 0.5 A
Resistance of the heating element = V/I = 220 V/0.5 A = 440 Ω.
R=1/44 ohm and I=10/22A
P=VI or VVR.
By putting x in place of current in the forst formula, we can calculate the current easily as we know V and P. And by putting y in place of R in second formula, we can calculate the value of R.
